"We just stopped here on our way back to Edinburgh to have some lunch and the food was amazing! We had the venison stew and the sweet & sour chicken - both were veeery tasty! This could very well be one of the best Restaurants we visited during our two journeys threw Scottland so far! The staff was also very nice and the place had a cozy ambience."

"I’ve been here many times, and every single visit has been a 10/10 for both food and service. The staff are incredibly friendly and always make you feel genuinely welcome from the moment you walk in. The new restaurant space has a really lovely atmosphere — warm, stylish, and inviting — which just adds to the overall experience. From start to finish, everything was amazing, and it’s easily one of my favorite places to eat. Highly recommend!"

"We pre-booked a window table for lunch and this was provided. The view over the Cromarty Firth is beautiful. The food too was excellent. Our only challenge was to sit comfortably as there was just not enough space for our chairs which did spoil the ambience. We will return, but not at a weekend."

"Booked last minute for us and our dog on Sunday for the roast. We weren't disappointed. It was delicious. I forgot to take a before picture as I couldn't wait to tuck in. This won't be our only visit to this lovely pub. Oh and the views at the back are fabulous."

"Excellent restaurant with fantastic food. We visited first an evening family meal. Starters included, tempura prawns, chicken skewers & salt & pepper squid. For main we chose fish and chips, sweet and sour chicken, mussels, tempura prawn as a main and two kids burgers. Our children finished with the ice cream included which was huge. Overall very good food, good service and definitely worth a revisit."
